February: California African American Museum (CAAM) - 2/09/20
February is Black History Month. Happy (early) Black History Month! As you know: Black History is American History. Let's make some history of our own and celebrate in style with a morning of Hip Hop Yoga and meditation at Exposition Park (in the green space across the parking structure from CAAM, called Christmas Tree Lane East), followed by a day at CAAM.
All levels of yoga, abilities, and accessibilities welcome! Bring with you: a yoga mat, a beach towel, water, sunscreen, an open mind, and an open heart. What to wear: comfy workout clothes. RSVP below to hold your spot! Suggested donation for the yoga class: $10.

- Hours of Operation: Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. - Directions and Parking: caamuseum.org/visit/hours-directions - CAAM parking lot fee is cash only. - Entrance into CAAM is always free. - CAAM is serviced by the Metro Expo Line. The station to exit to get to CAAM is: Expo Park/USC. This station is a quick 5-minute walk to CAAM. - To plan your route to CAAM using Metro: visit www.metro.net, or call 1-800-COMMUTE (1-800-266-6883) for route information and general service questions. |

- Parking: Free* and metered parking on the streets surrounding Exposition Park (and CAAM). - Hours of Operation: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Directions and Parking (to lots and structures): expositionpark.ca.gov/parking - Exposition Park is serviced by the Metro Expo Line. The station to exit to get to Exposition Park is: Expo Park/USC. This station is a quick 5-minute walk to Exposition Park (and CAAM). - There may be delays entering Exposition Park from Figueroa and 39th Street, as well as fewer empty parking spaces than usual due to construction and other park activities. Please note: you are able to enter Exposition Park at South Hoover Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard. - The green space where we'll have our Hip Hop Yoga class is called Christmas Tree Lane East - directly across the Visitor Parking Structure from CAAM. * free parking depends on the day of the week.
