WHAT IS WELLNESS?
Wellness, these days, seems to take on a new definition and meaning at every turn. I like to think of wellness as an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a balanced, healthy, and fulfilling life. Wellness is more than being free from illness - it is a dynamic and willing process of mindful change and growth.* |
WHY WELLNESS MATTERS
Maintaining an optimal level of wellness is crucial if we want to live our best lives. No matter our lifestyle choices, wellness matters. Wellness matters because everything we say, do, and feel is connected to our well-being - and our well-being is connected to everything we say, do, and feel. It's an on-going cycle - and it's important for us to recognize this so we can be the best versions of ourselves.* |
Feelings of joy, peace, and harmony are available to us when balance and wellness are achieved. You're invited to begin and/or cultivate your wellness journey by rolling out your mat and practicing yoga, or by pulling up a cushion and sitting in silent, mindful meditation.
